These Terms & Conditions (Terms) govern your relationship with 1 Renewable Group Pty Ltd ACN 698 539 632 (1 Renewable, we, us, our) and set out your rights and responsibilities as a customer. By using our website, requesting a quote, or purchasing our goods and services, you (you, your) accept these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our website or engage our services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy by using our website or engaging our services, (Part B).

  • You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
  • If you are engaging us on behalf of a business, body corporate, or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and “you” and “your” refer to both you and that entity.
  • We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on our website and takes effect on the day it is published. Your continued use of our website or services after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Our recommendations are based on what is best for your property, your energy requirements, and your long-term objectives.

4. Our Services

1 Renewable provides renewable energy and energy-efficiency solutions to Australian households and businesses, primarily in Victoria and New South Wales. Our offering includes:

  • Solar photovoltaic (PV) panel systems
  • Battery energy storage systems (BESS)
  • Heat pump hot water systems
  • Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions
  • Electric vehicle (EV) charging options
  • Guidance on government rebates and incentives
  • Energy consultations and product supply
  • Installation services and ongoing customer support

We strive to keep information about our products and services accurate and up to date; however, we do not warrant that all descriptions, specifications, prices, or availability are complete or error-free, and these are subject to change without notice. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any product or service at any time.

5. Quotes, Orders & Site Evaluations

  • Each quote is prepared using the information available at the time and is based on the details you provide.
  • Quotes are valid for the period stated in your proposal. Quotes may change if product prices change, government rebate settings are updated, the scope of work changes, or a site inspection reveals additional work.
  • Before installation we may inspect your property to verify electrical infrastructure, switchboard capacity, roof suitability, exclusion zones, and any other factors that may affect the recommended system.
  • Where a site inspection identifies additional requirements, we will discuss any necessary changes with you and issue an updated quote before work begins.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where information provided is inaccurate or where a site is unsuitable or unsafe.

6. Government Incentives & Rebates

A key part of our service is helping you access government incentives. Depending on your product and location, these may include Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES), the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, the New South Wales Energy Savings Scheme (ESS), and other federal or state rebate, discount, and financing programs.

  •  We assist you to understand and apply for the incentives for which you may be eligible, and to work with the registered providers or agents required under the relevant scheme.
  • As a condition of participating in some programs, you may be required to assign the right to create certificates (for example STCs, VEECs, or ESCs) to a provider registered under the relevant scheme, in exchange for the applicable point-of-sale discount. This will be set out in your proposal or a separate assignment form.
  • Eligibility and final approval are determined by the relevant government agency or scheme administrator (such as the Clean Energy Regulator, the Essential Services Commission in Victoria, or the NSW scheme administrator), not by 1 Renewable.
  • Program rules, funding availability, and rebate or certificate values are subject to change, sometimes at short notice.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information (including eligibility, concession, or property details where required). 1 Renewable cannot guarantee approval or the precise value of any incentive, and any advertised price that assumes a rebate is conditional on that rebate being approved.

7. Ordering, Payment & Finance

  • The payment terms for your project — including any deposit, progress payments, and the timing of the final payment — will be set out in your quote or agreement.
  • We accept the payment methods stated in your proposal, which may include electronic funds transfer, credit or debit card, and approved third-party finance or buy-now-pay-later arrangements (for example, interest-free or EMI-style plans offered by finance partners).
  • Where you use a third-party finance provider, your finance agreement is a separate contract between you and that provider on their terms; approval is at the provider’s discretion.
  • By providing payment details, you confirm you are authorised to use the chosen payment method and that the information you provide is accurate.
  • To the extent permitted by law, 1 Renewable retains ownership of goods supplied until full payment has been received. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or installation, whichever is earlier.

8. Pricing, GST & Taxes

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and, unless otherwise stated, are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). Prices may change at any time before your order is confirmed. Any advertised or quoted price that relies on a government rebate or certificate discount reflects the net price after that discount and is conditional on the relevant approval. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or governmental charges associated with your purchase, other than taxes based on 1 Renewable’s income.

9. Delivery & Installation

  • Once your order is confirmed, we will work with you to arrange installation at a mutually convenient time.
  • Installation dates may be affected by weather, product availability, supplier delays, network or distributor approvals, and other events beyond our reasonable control. We do not guarantee specific delivery or installation dates and are not liable for delays caused by such events.
  • All installations are carried out by suitably qualified and licensed professionals in accordance with applicable Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • If an approved product becomes unavailable, we will recommend a suitable substitute of comparable quality and performance and obtain your consent before proceeding.

10. Scheduling, Changes & Cancellations

  • If you need to reschedule or cancel a booked installation or service appointment, please give us as much notice as possible. We may charge a reasonable cancellation or call-out fee for appointments cancelled at short notice or for missed appointments.
  • If you change or cancel your order after products have been ordered or installation has been scheduled, additional costs or cancellation fees may apply (for example, restocking, supplier, or administration charges). We will endeavour to explain any such costs before proceeding.
  • Nothing in this clause limits any cooling-off or cancellation rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or applicable state legislation.

11. Customer Obligations & Site Access

  • Provide accurate information about your property and energy needs, and disclose any known structural, roofing, electrical, or access issues before work begins, so we can complete your installation safely and effectively.
  • Obtain all necessary approvals — from a landlord, body corporate, owners corporation, council, or other authority — before installation.
  • Provide a safe, accessible, and suitable work environment for our technicians, free from hazards. We reserve the right to postpone or refuse to perform work where conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
  • Keep children, animals, and personal belongings clear of the work area during installation.

12. Performance, Warranties & Ongoing Support

  • Products supplied by 1 Renewable are covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, and installation work is covered by the installers workmanship warranty as stated in your proposal or agreement.
  • Warranty duration and coverage vary by manufacturer, product, and service, in accordance with the relevant warranty terms.
  • Energy output and savings depend on many factors, including weather, roof orientation and shading, your electricity usage, tariff structure, and system maintenance.
  • Any estimates of performance or savings are provided as a guide only and are not a guarantee of future output or savings.
  • After installation, our team remains available to assist with warranty queries and ongoing support.

13. Returns, Refunds & Consumer Guarantees

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms limits those guarantees (see clause 15).

  • If a product is faulty, not of acceptable quality, or does not match its description, you are entitled to a remedy — which may include repair, replacement, or refund — in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Because our systems are supplied and installed to order, change-of-mind returns are generally not available once goods have been ordered or work has commenced, except as required by law or as stated in your proposal.
  • Where a return is accepted for a product that is not faulty, a reasonable restocking or handling fee may apply and, if so, will be deducted from any refund. Any such fee will be disclosed to you before the return is processed.
  • If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our products or service, please contact us directly so we can discuss available options and work toward a resolution.

14. Website Use & Prohibited Conduct

When using our website, you agree to provide accurate information, to keep any account credentials confidential, and to use our website and services only for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You must not use our website or services in any way that:

  • Violates any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation;
  • Infringes the intellectual property or other rights of 1 Renewable or any third party;
  • Is threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or offensive;
  • Promotes discrimination, hatred, or harm against any individual or group;
  • Involves unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional material, or spam; or
  • Attempts to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, or interfere with our website, servers, or systems.

We may suspend or terminate your access to our website or services without prior notice if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

15. Intellectual Property & Trademarks

All content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, designs, and software — is owned by 1 Renewable or its content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright and other laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, publish, or create derivative works from any part of our website without our prior written consent.

The 1 Renewable name, logo, and related trademarks are the property of 1 Renewable and may not be used without our express written permission. All other trademarks, product names, and company names referred to on our website are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

16. Australian Consumer Law

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not excluded, restricted, or modified by these Terms. Where a consumer guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, our liability is limited (at our option, and to the extent permitted by law) to repairing or replacing the goods, resupplying the services, or paying the cost of doing so. Nothing in these Terms operates to exclude any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Limitation of Liability

Subject to clause 16 and to the fullest extent permitted by law, 1 Renewable is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, savings, goodwill, or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of our website, products, or services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss. We are not liable for delays, losses, or additional costs caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, supplier shortages, network or distributor delays, changes in law or government programs, or inaccurate information provided by you.

18. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1 Renewable and its officers, employees, contractors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of the rights of any third party. This clause does not apply to the extent the loss is caused by 1 Renewable’s own negligence or breach.

19. Dispute Resolution & Complaints

  • If you are unhappy with any aspect of our products or service, please contact us as soon as possible so we can understand your concerns and work toward a fair resolution. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and take reasonable steps to address it.
  • If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith through negotiation and, if needed, mediation before commencing legal proceedings.
  • You may also seek assistance from the relevant consumer protection or dispute-resolution body — for example, Consumer Affairs Victoria, NSW Fair Trading, or the administrator of the relevant rebate scheme (VEU or ESS).

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and, where our services are provided in another State or Territory, by the laws of that jurisdiction to the extent they apply. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

21. General

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect, and the affected provision is deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its intent.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and your proposal or agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and 1 Renewable regarding your use of our website, products, and services, and supersede all prior communications and proposals, whether oral, written, or electronic.

Waiver

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver is effective only if made in writing and signed by an authorised representative of 1 Renewable.

22. Changes to These Terms & Contact

  • We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to government programs, our services, or regulatory requirements. The current version will always be available on our website and takes effect on the day it is published.

If you have any questions about these Terms or our services, please contact us at 1 Renewable Group Pty Ltd, 39B Apex Drive, Truganina VIC 3029, or via the contact details published on our website.
